Omni Hotel
The Omni Hotel at CNN Center is in the heart of downtown Atlanta.
Since 2003 the hotel has been known as one of Atlanta’s classic luxury hotels. Adjacent to many popular attractions guests are steps away from CNN world headquarters, World of Coca-Cola, Olympic Centennial Park, Mercedes Benz Stadium, State Farm Arena, the Georgia World Congress Center and more.
In 2019, Omni Hotel began renovations to bring new modern design to their Atlanta location.
This is the first major renovation that this location has undergone since its original build many years ago. IDS was so pleased to be hired to be a part of this process to breathe new life into this iconic hotel’s walls. Here a video highlights the concrete slab removal work by our team at IDS.
Concrete slab removal is difficult to execute in the best of conditions.
However, the wind and narrow side streets posed the biggest challenge while operating the crane. Thankfully our experienced team was able to seamlessly navigate these conditions without delaying the project or posing risks to those around the job site. As always we trust the expertise of our site managers and crew to find a solution to any unexpected surprises that may come our way. After just a short time making adjustments to the crane the project took off successfully.
